1999

Octobre 1999: I received the "Top 5% Chemistry Site" award!! :-)
I removed the 'plots & graphs' page, because the JAVA-applet I used didn't please me. It was also 'pseudo-interactive', which is something I don't like. Maybe I will rework on this idea one day. Added a box on element-sheets, where you can enter an atomic number, element name or symbol to jump to another element. Optimized the sheets for printing (width), and corrected many language inaccurities for the German version. I am still on translation.
September 1999: Many small aesthetical changes were made, to better graphically integrate the data with ChemGlobe. The German version is ready. Some items remain to be translated, but most is done. Introduced the error report page.
During the first week of September, the number of visitors to this site literally exploded: the average of 5-10 visitors/day raised to more than 100/day!!! Thank you! (or the search-engines?)
July 1999: Added 'plots & graphs' page, printable tables, elements 104-108 updated/added, several errors corrected, no valence anymore, most important oxydation state now highlighted, added small graphics for the crystal structure, added Allred and Rochow electronegativities. Also a legend was added for the different values
June 1999: Added link buttons
April 1999: The periodic table is integrated with ChemGlobe (http://pol.spurious.biz/projects/chemglobe/)
March 1999: many errors corrected, now official version
February 1999: The periodic table is online for the first time (Beta)
